This project aimed to craft original designs that impact emotions and encourage behaviour change to combat global warming.
There's a sea level on the rise; 10-32" or higher comin' by the end of the century
Challenge
The main challenge was creating an original design that was clear and impactful globally. The initial design had to work as a label for a water bottle.
QR codes were added so people could learn more about the issue and how they could help, resulting in the addition of an informational mobile website.
Process
Various global warming metrics were used to explore increasing sea levels, leading to the development of multiple styles of infographics.
There was a strong focus on making content easy to understand, engaging, and informative.
The increasing wave heights symbolize rising sea levels. Negative spaces enhance the concept, with the pattern framing the bottle's water.
The wireframe centred on outlining advice from the bottle label, enabling users to access additional info through categories.
The low-fidelity prototype delves into accessibility, personalization, and visual identity.
Typography
